YJ ChiLong

I have a friend in school who has a white chilong with the 54.6mm fangshi stickers(the one they put on the aolong,hualong and thunderclap) and it turns pretty good. He lubed it with traxxas 50k and its so smooth. The only problem is if its too lose,the cube will be very flimsy and will significantly suffer pops. It also has a major corner twisting problem if its too lose. Its still great though because it performs like any yj 3x3 and has 45 degree corner cutting.

Out of the box it was quite tight and slow, but once i loosened the tension and broke it in a bit it was quite fast. Corner cutting is ok but nothing special. Doesn't lock up very much and is very controllable. For its price its a really good cube for beginners/intermediates trying to get sub 1 minute. Overall a great cube once loosened and broken in.

The YJ chilong is a relativley cheap cube, coming in at $7.00 USD. The shades are average moyu shades, which is nice. Out of the box, the cube is controllable. I have a somewhat slower than average speed preference, so this is good. Keep in mind that the cube isnt slow, its just a little slower than the Aolong or the Weilong. Corner cutting is OKAY. it cuts a little less than 45 degrees with some force. I have a Aolong v2 And a Weilong v2 and out of the 2, this is my main. And a big plus is that the cube is pretty CHEAP and GOOD, so if i break or lose it, i can just buy another one, where is if i had a Aolong it would take almost 2x the money to replace. Overall GOOD CUBE. GET IT.

At first I thought it was kind of meh. It was slow, dry, bumpy and it sucked. But after I lubed it with Maru and tensioned it to my liking, it had massive main potential. It was fast, could corner cut so well. It can't take my yuexiao, but I love it and I would definitely recommend it.

This is essentially an improvement over the SuLong... I think I might call this the "Poor Man's AoLong." It's slightly "clackier" as described by the cubicle.us description, and corner cuts better. It also feels slightly lighter. SLIGHTLY. The stability is about the same. In general, if you have the SuLong, get this cube; it's practically a flat-out upgrade.

I use mildly increased Tensions and no lube for this cube. I like the clacky sounds it makes when it turns. It's more of a cube I solve for fun than speed, but maybe you'll like it more!

I really like this cube and it is very crunchy. It is very smooth and is pretty fast. The only downside is that is only corner cuts about 40 to 45 degrees, but overall, this is a great cube

This cube is very good for a beginner speed cuber who wants a decent, cheap speedcube. Once you put Maru lube in this it is amazing. The only problem is the fact that sometimes the cube can feel a bit blocky.

This puzzle is great out of the box. It has great turning and corner cutting. I really like the stickers. They are bright and are fairly thick and have lasted for a long time. Ive had it since the summer of 2014 and the stickers are still flawless. This is a GREAT speed cube

I have the white and black Chilong (ordering error) and both are remarkable performers. I'm not going to write my evaluation of this cube, as you can get that info from any of the other reviews here. I do believe that too many of us purchase a more expensive cube, myself included, because that's what the "pro's" use, when a less expensive cube can do just as well. The Chilong is such a cube. For $7.00 this cube is one of the best buys (along with the $8.00 Yulong) that your money can purchase for a 3x3. I don't believe anyone would be dissatisfied owning this cube. The value is unbeatable.
