The GuHong returns with torpedoes! This more recent version of the DaYan GuHong feels smoother than its predecessor and does not pop.

For me this cube is too uncontrollable, it keeps loosing its shape as sides and layers that I don't want turning try to turn. I think it's probably a great cube for the very experienced cuber but it's not as nice to use as many other cubes for the beginner or intermediate cuber. I'll have to order some #5 lube and see if over lubing it makes it easier to control.

This is a very good cube. This cube is fast and smooth so if you like that, this cube is a must buy.

I got one of these of amazon for 30 bucks ( should have gotten it here) and it was a great cube. That was until I started getting faster and noticed some popping. I had to make the tensions very tight but it still performed well. It corner cuts pretty close to 45 and is a great cube. It was my first speed cube and I recommend it for begginers but get torpedoes with it or get a zhanchi if you are going for speed. The pops are a big issue. Overall great cube.

This Cube is very good. I got the DIY kit and it was missing some pieces. Once I got the pieces the cube was very good but a bit hard to control. I over lubed it and florian modded it. My rating would be 5 stars if the pieces weren't missing

I ordered a yellow one and a black one. Out of the box, the black one was insanely slow and sluggish whereas the yellow one was uncontrollably fast no matter how it was tensioned. I rarely use the yellow one, and I found that the trade off for the black one was that if it was loose, it was fast but it popped every 5 solves, and if it was tight it would require lube every 20 solves. This cube is in no way smooth, in fact I'm willing to argue that a Zhanchi is smoother than this. When I took the torpedoes out, this cube popped so often it was unusable. Overall I would say to try maybe an older Dayan puzzle or just drift away from the dayan company..

The Guhong V2 is loud and clicky which is surprising since I read that it was suppose to be smoother than the Zhanchi; it is not. I used the torpedos. The loud clickiness is kind of nice but I do not like it that much. My Zhanchi and Weilong are far superior; which they should be. Being newer and all. For a clicky slower cube it isn't that bad. This cube does lock more than the Zhanchi but surprisingly is way more difficult to pop.
