This is the cube that launched DaYan's presence into the market. Despite the introduction of many additional cubes in the DaYan line, the GuHong remains a top choice. Here's why so many people like it:

Also, the feel of this cube can drastically change after modding. With the help of some sanding and lubing, it can go from crispy and quick to smooth and gummy, if that's what you're into. Why does the DIY Kit cost more than the Assembled version?
The DIY Kit contains many small and loose parts, so it requires additional labor compared to Assembled cubes, including screening them for missing, incorrect, or broken parts and providing after-sale service. Unfortunately, due to the extra labor and costs associated with maintaining a high level of quality in our DIY Kits, we must charge a little more for the DIY Kits than for the Assembled cubes.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.
