MoYu WeiLong

I didn't like it at all, I don't own this personally but one of my friends do and it's pretty bad. I'm only giving it a one star because I kind of like the shades but I prefer the Shengshou Fangyuan 3x3.

Out of the box, this cube is a bit dry, and is a bit sluggish.

However, after breaking it in with DNM-37, Lubicle Silk, and around 50 solves, it became extremely good. I almost like it more than my GTS v2 M.

The turning was then very smooth and very silky. I loved it. If it weren't for my GTS v2 M, this would be my new main.

But then, like a complete moron, I put some Rubik's Speedcube Lube in it. Turns out, it's terrible, never put any in any of your speedcubes unless it's the Rubik's Speedcube.

I bought this cube for a friend but still got to try it and it performs well, It not too bad for a mid-tier cube but can be improved. It makes you pick between corner twists or speed and I couldn't find a sweet stop, I would recommend this cube for beginners or people on a budget but just know there are better options out there.

I set this cube up the same way as the discontinued Cubicle Weilong v2. The cube is smooth and fast with okay corner cutting. Because if it's older mechanism the cube isn't as stable and locks up a little bit. The cube also has a hard plastic feel that I do not enjoy. I would recommend this cube as a collection item and not a main.

this cube alone is nice however something about the quality of moyu's primary plastic around the time the weilong v1 came out is superior in every way providing a smooth and crisp feel, you will not need to lube or tension it, the corner cutting is amazing, right out of the box it became my main with no work done

i decided to get this after playing with boys who i met at summer camp and i assumed it felt to nice because he'd broke it in, when in reality there's magic within a weilong v1 in primary

The Moyu Weilong is a good cube. The sticker shades are stock Moyu shades from the factory. The performance of this cube is amazing. Super smooth turning, but loud! The speed of this cube is fast. Corner cutting is ok! Over 45 degrees and 3/4 of a piece for reverse. Only reason i rate this cube 4/5 stars is because of the hardware. Every time i turn a certain side it makes a weird noise from the spring. I lubed the washer so the spring will slide more smoothly so that noise will go away, but i had to lube it a lot! Overall this cube is good! Corner cutting is excellent, speed is great, and turning is phenomenal!

As my first speedcube I think its amazing! Cuts over 45 and nearley a full piece reverse. I have never had it pop and it only twists every 500 solves or so. I just need to get some lube to lube it!

I got this cube when I first started speedcubing. Out of the box, I hated it. In fact, when I got the MoYu Aolong V1, I immediately switched to it! I thought the WeiLong was uncontrollable and extreme, while the Aolong was fast, yet controllable.

Recently, however, I discovered that tensioning and lubing the WeiLong made it better than any other MoYu cube by far (for me, at least!). It has corner cutting that is just as successful as its newer counterparts, and has a fine balance of smooth, fast turning. I really like this cube now! I have it on moderately loose tensions, and the core (and some of the pieces) is lubed with Lubix. I'd not only recommend this cube to any cuber, I'd guarantee it! It's similar to the Dayan Zhanchi, in that it is a must-have for any speedcube collection.

It's one of my favorite 3x3's, and my favorite MoYu cube!

I got this cube at atlanta open and it imediatly became my main. great corner cutting, very smooth, and almost never pops

This cube is my main, however it does not look like it does in the picture. I got this cube and it came with aolong stickers on it, not the FF weilong stickers on the pictures and on reviews, i think this is because this cube is old and they have done some things to it but that is just stickers. The turning is awesome, it has a little bit of a cluncky feel and out of the box it was really dry and springy. I know this is a V1 because it has a 2 peice design on the corners. this cube is inbetween A and A+
