The ShengShou 5x5 cube is a perfect-size 5x5 that has exceptional inner and outer layer turning ability. Overall, the ShengShou 5x5 has a sturdy feel. Pops and lockups are rare.

I have mixed thoughts about this puzzle. Its definitely amazing with the Florian mod but can overshoot and is a bit fast and can lock up a bit with Dayan springs. If you are going to buy this puzzle, I recommend purchasing Dayan Springs to replace the ShengShou ones. It's also a cheap cube so that's a plus

The ShengShou 5x5 is a decent puzzle. I have done numerous solves, tensioned, and lubricated it. Before I got to try out a MoYu AoChuang, I was pretty satisfied with the puzzle. But even with the work I put into it, an out of the box MoYu AoChuang is definitely superior. If you're short on cash and/or not seriously into speedsolving 5x5, definitely purchase this. Otherwise, get a MoYu AoChuang.

This cube locks up a lot , so I don't know there is any way that I can fix it. Over all this cube is ok.

Amazing cube. This is the best 5x5 I've ever used. It has great speed, decent cornercutting, and never pops. Also, the best price ever!

Out of the box it was ok, turned pretty smoothly and had a nice feel to it. After lubing, tensioning it improved a bit but not a noticeable change, but a big problem with it is when I get these HUGE lock ups which jam my cube up! Don't waste your money unless you mod it, but just get the MOYU 5x5 THANK THE LORD!

Best 5x5 out currently, but still catches and locks up like crazy. I guess this is to be expected though because there's 5 layers turning, there's bound to be some lock ups. Scratchy yet smooth turning.
