The YuXin 2x2 is now available! As the first 2x2 release by YuXin, this cube is expected to deliver excellent performance in its price class. It features Florian-style holes to facilitate corner-cutting.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Nice, just hard to set up

I kept updating this review, because the feel of this cube kept changing. I finally found out that it's just because it was hard to set up and once the lube broke in, the feel changed, and whenever I tensioned it, the feel changed, so it just kept changing. Anyway, once I finally found the right set up, I would say this is a great 2x2. It feels just like a cross between the old plastic Dayan, the WeiPo, and the KungFu 2x2, and as far as design, it replicates the WitTwo V1 a lot. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a decent 2x2 that is good at setting up cubes. If you can't set up cubes very well, this cube won't really work out for you. It definitely isn't my main over the old plastic Dayan though.

Broken

I bought this cube at a competition. It is very fast and corner cuts well it was my main out of the box! (i didnt have a WeiPo at the time) and the corner cutting was up to today's standards. But then during a solve a piece came out, it broke! At the time i only had this cube for 6 days! Very low quality...

Yuxin 2x2 review

This is a good 2x2 for beginner cubers. It has basically reached the standards for what a beginning cube must have. It was fast out of the box and the shades contrast nicely. Also a great budget 2x2.

great 2x2

Out of the box this cube was really stiff. After I tensioned and lubed it I got my 3 second pb. I am cheap and didn't want to buy lube so I lubed the core with Vaseline and the pieces with baby oil and It made the cube really smooth and fast.

Good but not good enough

I got this one in stickerless and the red and orange look the same. I've messed up many times in the Ortega case in which adjacent swap and a diagonal swap have to be done because I recognize orange red bar as a red bar. DON'T. BUY STICKERLESS I WANT YUXIN TO HAVE DIFFERENT STICKERLESS SHADES. It was so fast I added a bit of weight 4 and it got slower and I like it now. It is good but not anything revolutionary or the dayan killer just a great budget cube

Pretty good

Got it, lubed it, broke in the lube. Results, speed pretty good. Corner cut? Not too much. My friend tried to corner cut 45 degrees.... And it BROKE. Overall, great cube, not so much in corner cuts.

Awesome Cube!

When this cube came into the mail, I automatically opened it and it felt great out of the box. It corner cuts at well over 45 degrees. It has great sticker less shades. It has gotten me great times! Get this cube!
