The Angstrom GAN Air SM is a fast and stable magnetic 3x3 featuring an Angstrom-based lube combination for a new feel and style. This puzzle is lubed with Lubicle Black in the GES nuts, Angstrom Gravitas on the tracks, and a mix of Angstrom Dignitas and DNM-37 on the pieces. The use of Angstrom lubes gives the cube a quick and clean feel without the gumminess of ordinary silicone lubricants. The Angstrom GAN Air SM contains yellow GES nuts as a default.

Note: The Lubicle Black lube in the GES nuts may make the yellow GES nuts appear green. The Angstrom Dignitas will leave some residue on some of the pieces. These are completely normal. The Angstrom Research Logo is placed on the red side. If you would like it on a different side, please leave an order comment.

The remaining GES V2 components (G and S-Series) and plastic tensioning tool will be included with this package inside a blue GAN cube bag.

We can sticker this puzzle according to your instructions which can be specified on a special page during the checkout process (the page will appear only if you have custom cubes in your cart). If no instructions are provided, we will sticker it with a full-bright set. We will let you know if we have any questions about your instructions. This cube is very good out of the box but you may have to do at least 10 break-in solves. I honestly think that this cube is worth the hefty price tag. I strongly reccomend this cube to anyone who can afford it.

Out of the box, Initially the cube was a bit gummy and sticky. On doing a lot of solves with it, I became smooth. The magnets are strong and can be felt as I turn, which provides very good stability. Within the first 3 days of receiving the cube it took a while to break it in, but after I broke it in, I could probably use it as my main. Would highly recommend this cube!

Ridiculously Amazing
By Sam L. on 05 June 2018
Product: Angstrom GAN Air SM
tl;dr This cube is amazing. Right out of the box, it was a complete dream. This dropped my times by a couple seconds (on my first few solves!) but it will still need a little bit more breaking in for it to be amazing. Definitely 5/5.

Getting this cube took a couple weeks. TheCubicle said that it had been on high request and since it was a custom cube, it would take a little bit more to come to my house. Most people would give less than 5 stars because of this, but reviews are about the cube, not about the stock and the number of weeks it takes to get the cubes.

The cube comes with a black Cubicle bag (this fit my Wuhua 6x6 V2 perfectly), a black Cubicle stand, and the GES nuts and tensioning tools, along with their business card. I opened one of the GES nuts cases and I can't figure out how to put it back, but that isn't too big of a problem.

On to my first turns. The first turns were absolutely amazing. Coming from a Cyclone Boys Feiwu and never having turned a magnetic cube before, I could only watch JRCuber's, legoboyz3's, and CrazyBadCuber's reviews on these cubes so many times and judge the cube before I could try it. It was way better than I expected. The magnetic strength is enough so that it could snap into place easily when you turn slowly. While speedsolving, you could only notice a slightly bumpy but smooth feel. The cube is also incredibly quiet, but it was louder than I had expected since everyone who I watched on YouTube said that it was very quiet, but I could only judge from their microphone. It was way quieter than my last cube of course, as my last cube was very blocky and clacky. The logo on the red side looked nicer than I thought. After getting used to the cube, I couldn't (and still can't) imagine having the logo on white. Corner cutting is superb. It cuts around half a piece past 45 and it reverse cuts a whole piece.

This cube is all in all absolutely amazing, and I would suggest it to anyone who can afford it. F2L somehow became incredibly easier and I've been getting my first sub-20 solves on the cube (don't judge). You may have to break the cube in just a little bit. This cube definitely deserves a lot of respect, and it is no wonder Feliks Zemdegs got a world record with this cube. 10.987654321/10

Expensive, but worth it.
By Thomas Schultz on 04 June 2018

It's a bit expensive, but if you have a bit of a wider budget or are finally getting competitive (I'm not quite there - barely a sub-20 ao5), it's an amazing purchase.

Admittedly, I'm re-entering the cubing scene after a long hiatus, so I don't have much experience with other magnetic cubes such as the Valk M or GTS2 M, but the Angstrom GAN Air SM is set up PERFECTLY.

Magnets are definitely noticeable, but not overpowering. Tensioning and lube are set up such that there are fast turns, great corner cutting, but the cube is still very stable. After a few hundred solves, I still haven't had a corner twist or cube pop, and after getting used to the cube, very very few lock-ups or over turns.

I got my first sub-15 within the first 100 solves with this cube (previous best was a few 17.xx)!

Sticker placement and performance
By Oryan Moshe on 27 May 2018
Product: Angstrom GAN Air SM
Sticker placement on mine was horrible, loads of air bubbles, uneven and not centered.
The cube itself is slow and sticky even after a hundred solves, and it keeps getting coated with lube all the time..
Wouldn't recommend this product.

This cube is the best!!! Feels like a sluggish UM out of the box but after a couple solves it is great. I would recommend this cube to intermediate to advanced cubers. This cube significantly dropped my PB and average. This cube is seriously worth the price.

This cube is worth it's price!
By Alex Vogel on 18 May 2018

OOTB this cube was a little gummy and slow. After a few solves though, I immediately felt a difference. If you are cuber who's average is around 20-30, I would recommend this cube. But this cube does have a hefty price tag. If you are willing though, to spend an extra 20 bucks. GET THIS CUBE. If not though, I would recommend the Yuxin little magic. Overall, this cube has a controllable and fast turning speed an is also very soft. Also this cube is very stable.
