Product Description

The GAN356 Air UM is a magnetized GAN356 Air Ultimate, GAN's flagship 3x3 and current world record cube for both single and average. The Air UM is the world's first mass produced magnetic 3x3, and is the culmination of a collaboration between GAN and Cubicle Labs. The Air UM offers an outstanding blend of lightness and stability, along with a unique tactile feel thanks to the cube's magnetic pieces. The attraction between pieces also provides significant reductions in overshooting and locking up.

The GAN 356 Air UM features purple GES nuts pre-installed, along with a pair of tensioning tools, a package containing the six other GES nuts, a CFOP pamphlet, GAN VIP card, and blue GAN cube bag.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Back in 2016-17 this was literally such a good cube. will go down in cubing history.

BEST CUBE EVER CREATED! But sadly one issue :(

This is THE BEST CUBE EVER! My main 3x3, No locking up, Yellow GES is the best for me though. Definitely Worth it. But I did have a slight issue when a magnet came loose in one of my edge pieces that sadly still hasn't been fixed.

Here are my thoughts on the Gans 356 Air UM. Out of the box it was a great cube. It was durable pretty smooth and quick. After breaking in this cube without any lube it started to get a little bit dry. I lubed it with silicone oil and it fixed that problem. Even if I hadnt lubed it the cube would still be fine. I quickly realized that this would be my new main and I hadnt changed the springs or the tensions. I think that the cube is a great cube overall. This cube would fit most peoples turning styles because it is durable, which is good for rough turning styles and overall as a cube. It also is smooth and with lube it gets even smoother in small periods of time. This supports lite turning styles and even rough. And also, the cube has a good force of magnetism caused by the magnets in this cube, and they support any types of turning styles. Overall I think this is a great cube and since I have got it it has always been my main. I recommend this cube for anyone looking for a great speed cube and thank you for reading this review.

Its hard to get lube to work with the plastic, the plastic is harder and more clacky, and two magnets in the corners dont work, they dont pick up anything, I dont know if its meant to be like that or if its a defect but its unsatisfactory for those reasons. It has potential to be an amazing cube otherwise

INCREDIBLY BUTTERY

This was insane when I got it. Out of the box it was terrible for me! Once i unboxed it and did some turns, it would catch like CRAZY. So i put in the yellow GES nuts and it was insane. I added some dnm-37 and it made it an elite cube. Although it doesn't measure up to the requirements in order to be a main because it couldn't pass my angstrom GTS3M but this cube is easily my backup main. Although it is a bit pricey, I would get this.

Best cube ever...Seriously

It took me a few days to get used to the cubes feel, it is very fast and clicky comparing it to my other main: the Cubicle Labs MF3RS2M. I have had this cube for a couple of months now and I've broken every PB. I got my PB single of 10.90 from my previous PB which was a 16.58. My PB averages keep dropping dramatically and quickly. To put it simply: This cube has everything I need; good contrasting colors, quick, stable, and very light. This is the cube you should buy.
