Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Versatile and sturdy

This puzzle reminds me of Alexander's Star in that the pieces rotate over the surface of other pieces. Also, like A.S. it's easy to isolate which pieces you want to move. As such it is not too hard to solve if you don't introduce any moves which "jumble" or shape-shift the puzzle. This can happen if you give the faces with 6 pieces (i.e. the ones with two large and four small pieces) a turn of 60 or 120 degrees. If you give these faces only 120 degree turns, the puzzle will not jumble. I have not tried the jumbling moves yet, so that may add a whole different layer of difficulty.

Also, you can opt for a different solved state (see Tomas Rokicki's twitter) with the 6 color version. The potential for pretty designs is there too.

The puzzle turns very smoothly and does not pop.

All in all, you can get a lot out of this puzzle. Outstanding!

Neat looking puzzle. Look forward to solving

On first look, it’s a good looking puzzle; very similar to the Alexander’s Star. I’ll be curious to see if it solves similarly. It turns well. I would recommend it.

You can shapeshift it, but probably shouldn't

The puzzle is visually appealing and is a nice, simple solve if you don't do any jumbling moves.

I tried doing some shapeshifting to make it more of a challenge (since I love jumbling puzzles), but the resulting turns were quite stiff and made me afraid that I was going to break the puzzle. Because of that, if you do want to add jumbling to your scrambles, I recommend using just the shortest of jumble algorithms which will preserve the shape at the end. I haven't completely solved it post-jumble yet (again, the stiffness), but the de-jumbling step seems to be slightly easier than a Curvy Copter.
