Product Description

The Gans 356S V2 is the latest version of the highly successful Gans 356. It features the new center caps that come with the Gans 356S, as well as an improved groove track design on both the edges and corners. The shallower grooves make the cube more stable and controllable.

It also comes with a plastic tool for adjusting tensions, as well as a folded instruction pamphlet with tips on how to adjust the Gans 356S V2.

Lite Version: This is the new lite version of the Gans 356S V2. The lite version features a cardboard box instead of the typical Gan 356S plastic case. A plastic tensioning tool is included. However, the extra sticker set and logo from the standard version is not included. These differences allow the lite version to be less expensive than the other versions.

The Gans 356S V2 will replace the Gans 356S in Gans' cube lineup.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

SURPRISED WELL NOT MUCH SINCE IT'S A GAN BUT STILL....

First Impressions: I was speechless.It was so good and so smooth.I made a fake video lol and that cringy stuff.I just can't say the feeling but my dad said it was expensive for a 3x3 then he felt it and it immediately chanced his oppinion.

After 1 week: It was not as good as I said it was but it was still nice.I thought to myself "I got the cheapest gan I could find and it's so good but why do people spend like 45 usd on these cubes that would be reletively fast

1 Month Later: I have successfully breaken it in and it was so good almost as good as the first impressions!I have put in lube and taken it to numerous drives and places.I just can't belive just by breaking in a cube you can make it so much better.

NOW: Well it's been almost 10 months!!!I lost then gained interest and now i'm writting this.It's still fine but I need something new, it's the same feeling and it just repeats over and over again thats why i'm getting the sail and thunderclap oerall i do reccocmend it.

I don't own 1 but someone let me use it but I would more so keep it for a collection to see how much Gans Cube's have gotton better over the years.

this cube is good the the main issue is that the cube jams all the time so it really hard to speed solve.

Very good

This cube is very good and smooth. Its very quiet unless you never lubricate it. Its very fast and smooth but unstable. To fix it i would reccomend getting a magnet set and magnetizing it. Overall this is a great cube and im sure most will like it.

Awesome

This cube is awesome it is well worth it. It is very quiet and super fast. I love the mechanism and just how fast it is. I've gotten my PB down to 25 seconds.

Good cube after setup

I've had this cube for about 1 month now an I have to say its not the best out of the box, but after setting it up its A LOT better. out of the box it is wobbly and uncontrollable for my turning style, but after tension it and putting a bit of DNM-37 on the pieces it improved very much to fit my turning style.

Great cube, bad stickers

I have had this cube for about a month now, and it is a great cube. I had mine shipped with the pro set up and the lubicle black, and it was super fast out of the box. I originally ordered this as a back up to my Thunderclap V2 while I learned how to set up and lube a cube.

It has a very smooth feel, compared to my Thunderclap that is more clicky. The corner cutting is great, about 45+ degrees in both directions, and the caps stay put well, while they are still easy to remove to adjust tension. I have tried to change the tension on this cube, but couldn't get it any better with the stock system better than GAN could do. I only give this cube 4 out of 5 stars due to the proprietary tensioning system that I am not a fan of, and the stickers.

My issues with the stickers are that they are already chipping and that the blue/green contrast isn't my favorite. I would highly recommend checking out other stickers to put on this cube, and checking out the different tension springs/pieces for this cube if you don't like it right out of the box. The system that is on the cube right out of the box is a little loose for me, and when I tried to tighten the cube down a bit, it made it difficult to turn and still left the pieces a little loose for my taste.

I haven't had any issues with popping or corner twisting, but I have had a few lockups when I tried to tighten the cube. I could see this being a wonderful cube for folks that like to customize their cubes to perfection, but maybe not for those that aren't willing to customize and aren't used to a fairly loose and super fast cube as it can be a bit unruly if you aren't used to a cube like this.

Great First Speed 3x3

It was okay out of the box, but after 20+ solves, I added lube (Cubicle Weight 3, to be exact), and it turned phenomenally. It is still great to this day (1.5 yrs), but a few of the sticker's corners are peeling off. Would recommend for your first 3x3.

Worth it

I recently got this cube and it is defiantly my new main! First thing is has great corner cutting (over 45 degrees) and is super smooth. This is a great cube! And it makes my other cube look like trash. Out of the box it was amazing and I shaved 14 seconds off my fastest time. It feels solid in my hand and after adjusting and lubing it it feels almost perfect. The only thing bad about it is the stickers have already started chipping. Other than that it is awesome and a great price.

So good!

Out of the box it was great, I have it for a month and I have not lubericated it yet but honestly it doesnt need lube because its vety smooth and performs great, sticker quality is kinda bad so as the stickes shades so Id recommend buying stickers for it, but overall this cube is amazing, amazing and corner cuts almost effortless 45. Deffo my new main.
