The US Nationals 2016 cubing mat is a commemorative cubing pad for the US Nationals 2016 speedcubing competition from July 29-31 in Portland, Oregon. It was sold before and during the competition, but if you didn't get a chance to buy one yet, we have a limited quantity left available for purchase. The dense but soft material absorbs the shock of the cube better than a hard surface, and it helps keep your cube in good condition.

It measures 10" x 15" (approx. 25.4cm x 38.1cm).

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

My friend got my one and I use it for all most every solve, It is also thick so when you drop it to hit the timer it cushions your cube and it is thicker than a speed stacks mat, would recommend.

Great mat, kind of small, smells horrid.

The mat is absolutely great. It's kind of like a slightly extended cloth mouse pad, and has a cool design. When I was at nats I had some people sign it, but if I had more people try to sign it they would soon run out of space, because it's a kind of small mat. Also it smells really bad when I got it, and the smell stayed for a week. But overall great mat, definitely get while you can!
