Product Description

The YuXin Fire S is a budget-friendly, entry level 3x3 cube in by YuXin and the improved version of the original YuXin Fire. It features a frosted coating on the exterior that has a matte feeling to it. The frosted surface also reduces scratches and has an anti-glare effect in bright conditions.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

This one is junk.

If someone wants to see my junk, I just show them my YuXin Fire S. It was uncomfortable light weight, loose, and it sticks right our of the box. Then just sticky after i tightened it up a bit. I opened it up to lube it but still sticky. Totally disassembled to wash all lube off and reassembled. It still sticks. When my two year old grandson arrives in a couple hours, it will be his. Hopefully he will break it before he gets old enough to actually solve it. Shouldn't be difficult because he breaks everything else.

It’s okay. I recommend budget cubes like the MF3RS or QiYi Thunderclap.
This cube is pretty slow and has wierd shades on stickerless. Although if your looking for a cube with good corner cutting choose this but not even Lubicle Speedy sped this up

This is a very good cube (could use a stronger texture on the tiles)

This was a very good cube, very fast and has great corner cutting, good turning, but the only tiny little problem I have with this cube is that the cube slips out of my hands quite often... It could just be me though.. I think that this would be a SUPER good cube if it had a stronger texture on the tiles.

The most excellent budget cube

This cube surprised me. I got this cube for 2 bucks when it was on sale and get 20-30 seconds on it. Once you break it in it is a very awesome cube. I gotta say, I did not really like the sticker less part but then that actually helped the cube get better. This cube felt different from any other cube i have which i have about 24 cube half of my cubes have stickers on them. This was an amazing cube for 2 bucks definitely.

One of the best budget cube i tried

This definitely competes with one of the best budget cube on the market!! I really love the frosted feel and the shades looks so nice!!! It feels pretty dry out of the box but still very nice to turn and is already very fast and corner cuts decently well!! After lubing it with DNM-37 its added stability to the puzzle but yet kept that fast feeling!! Overall definitely recommend it as a budget option!!!

Not Worth It With Current Competition

I agree with the others in that this is the worst budget cube I have tried yet. The Qiyi Sail, Warrior W, MoFang JiaoShi MF3RS, and ShengShou Gem are definitely better than this. Also, this plastic isn't really frosted, it just has a matte finish. (If you want real frosted plastic, get the ShengShou Gem.) I like some of the shades, but recognition is definitely messed up in darker environments. Over all, I can't recommend buying this cube when there are actually amazing budget cubes already on the market. I personally recommend the MF3RS and the Gem as the two best budget cubes on the market.

Good after tension and lubricatiob

When I opened this up, it felt very dry. But after lubricating and remaining, it was really good. I got two 24 second times in a row. Would recommend to people with a budget.

Ok but not extrodinary

This puzzle is a fire but frosted plastic but we've seen this fiasco before with the weilong but to be honest get the fire because it feel gummier than a normal frosted cube so in recommendations get the Fire there's no point getting the Fire S. Sure it maybe a dollar difference but the performance and feeling are garbage.

Poor Budget Option

I think it's hard for me to give any functioning cube at this price below a three star rating.

However, this cube is the worst budget cube I have tried. The cube itself is very blocky with little potential to improve.

Most notably the red and orange shades are way too close in color and this cube is a challenge to solve in my home lighting. Somehow the green and yellow also blend together.

I would recommend the Kung Fu, the Cubing Classroom, the Sail, and the QiYi budget cube all above this puzzle.
